Hello, I’m Cheryle Cote.

Many years ago (over 35 years, actually), I was a busy, self-employed, overworked young woman with a career in graphic design that was successful and demanding. My partner and I worked long hours. I was eating on the fly, grabbing quick meals and eating out a lot. I was eating all the wrong foods, drinking too much coffee, working grueling long hours and feeling the demands of trying to balance a successful career, family life and household. And it was all overwhelming and stressful.

So I was always putting myself last as a priority. I know that a lot of women often do this.

My stress levels were affecting my life, relationships, energy, mood, hormones and menstrual cycle. When I went to my doctor (this happened in the early 80’s and PMS wasn’t really acknowledged at the time) all he offered me was a tranquilizer, perceiving me as an emotional woman who was just over-reacting to life.

I knew there had to be a better way. My doctor’s approach was not the answer for me. My doctor made me feel like I was out of control and his approach did nothing to address the cause of my issues. So I studied and went on a quest to find true healing solutions.

My journey led me to study anatomy, nutrition, herbs, meditation, the body/mind connection, emotional healing, energy medicine, and much more. After I applied what I had learned on my healing journey, the difference in my health was like night and day. I felt stable, calm and my cycle normalized. I had better energy through the day and I slept better at night.

This healing journey inspired me to continue my studies and use my knowledge to start my own Holistic Healing practice helping thousands of women for the past 35+ years.

So I personally understand how women can struggle with juggling all the roles they try to fill – career woman, wife, mother, lover, household manager, just to name a few.

And finding time to learn all there is to know about creating wellness and self-care can be challenging with a busy life. There is so much information out there. Where do you begin?
